The Alliance for a Healthy Kansas is nonpartisan health policy advocacy organization focused on increasing access to affordable health care and decreasing medical debt. The Alliance embraces a model of change centered on collaborating with partner organizations on shared health policy advocacy and educating and empowering individual Kansans to raise awareness and advocate for policies improving access to quality health care. The Alliance utilizes a variety of strategies focused on the areas of consumer health advocacy, Medicaid expansion, reducing medical debt, and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the existing Kansas Medicaid program.
